Opening Doha - Salutation to Vina Pani

"बंदौं वीणा पाणि को,देहु आय मोहिं ज्ञान।
पाय बुद्धि रविदास को,करौं चरित्र बखान॥"

Translation: "Salute Vina Pani, give coming to me knowledge. Got wisdom Ravidas, do character narration."

Meaning: I salute Lord Krishna who holds the vina (flute). Please give me knowledge. Having received wisdom from Ravidas, I narrate his character and deeds.

Opening Doha - Mother's Infinite Glory

"मातु की महिमा अमित है,लिखि न सकत है दास।
ताते आयों शरण में,पुरवहु जन की आस॥"

Translation: "Mother's glory infinite is, write not able is servant. Therefore came refuge in, fulfill people's hopes."
